Air fryers are best known for their ability to make perfect french fries. Frozen fries are great, but some people prefer to make their own fries. Fresh cut fries take a little longer to cook but taste awesome. Add your favourite dipping sauce and this air fryer staple will become a favourite.

Ingredients

  • 3 Medium Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 2.5 g Salt optional
  • 2.5 g Chicken Salt optional
  • 1 bowl Tomato Sauce (Ketchup) optional
  • 1 bowl Barbeque Sauce optional
  • 1 bowl Sweet & Sour Sauce optional
  • 1 bowl Aioli Sauce optional

Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash the potatoes and pat them dry. You don't want to put wet potatoes into the air fryer.
  • Cut the potatoes into thin slices and pat them dry

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 180° C or 360° F for approximately 3 minutes depending on the air fryer.
  • Lightly spray the oil onto the sliced potatoes and place in the air fryer.
  • Cook for 30 minutes until golden brown

Notes

Ensure you shake the fries often to ensure even cooking.
