Savoury Meatballs with pizza sauce and grated cheese cooked in an air fryerFor something tasty and different, try a Meatball Sub. Super easy to make in an air fryer.

Ingredients
- 2 long Bread Rolls
- 4 tbsp Pizza Sauce
- 1/2 cup Grated Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 200°C or 390°F for approximately 3 minutes depending on your air fryer.
- Slice the long bread rolls down the middle being careful not to slice all the way through.
Cooking
- Place the precooked meatballs in the Air Fryer basket and cook for approximately 9 minutes.
- Place the cooked meatballs in the long bread roll, add 2 tbsp pizza sauce, and sprinkle grated Mozzarella Cheese on top.
- Place the rolls back in the air fryer and cook for 2-3 minutes until cooked.
Notes
Tip: Use Mozzarella cheese as it melts better, and is less oily.
Note: Pack the mozzarella cheese well in the roll otherwise it will fly out during cooking. If you have a small rack you can place on top of the rolls, it will help stop cheese from flying all over the air fryer.
