Recipe Notes

* Cook from defrosted
* No oil necessary

Cooking time should be used as a guide only. Thickness of hamburger patty, amount of fat, and how compacted the patty is will determine the cooking time. I recommend using an instant cooking thermometer to check on the progress. This is based on slightly thicker than 1 inch thick and being well done.

    Is the 438mg of salt per serving based on just the hamburger itself, or is that factoring in all the optional ingredients? My husband has congestive heart failure and gas to monitor his salt intake.

      Hi,

      The Nutritional information would be on the food itself, not the optional ingredients. It’s also very subjective so be careful if your health or your husbands health depends on it. What I mean by subjective is that every hamburger patty is is going vary by many factors. I got the nutritional information from sources on the Internet such as myfitnesspal, etc. Use it as a guide only. If you are concerned at all, always look at the packaging if it’s a frozen meat patty, or consult more accurate sources. I do my best to have relatively accurate information but there are multiple sources containing different nutritional values for the same items so it needs to be taken with a grain of salt (pardon the pun) 😉
