Turkey Leg
Everyone loves Turkey. Use your favorite seasoning and cook it to perfection in the air fryer.Turkey legs like chicken legs turn out great in an air fryer. The meat is succulent and juicy while the skin is golden and crispy on the outside. Just add your favorite spices and away you go.

I preheated my air fryer and put the leg in for 30 minutes and it read 180* but when I pulled the meat thermometer out bloody juices came out….definitely not done. Put it back in….makes me nervous——gonna check it again in 10 minutes
That’s odd candice. Maybe the air fryer isn’t reaching that temperature. Alternatively make sure it’s set to Celsius or Fahrenheit depending on where you live. If you are in the USA that temperature should be in Fahrenheit so 180 Celsius is around 360 degrees Fahrenheit.
I’m havi g the same problem with mine at the moment. Did 27 minutes at 360 f. Now working on an additional 18 minutes and not quite there
yeah turkey legs take an hour in mine… 30 and 30 at 400F
Also took about from minutes total for small legs but hobby loved them
How long for thighs?
I put my turkey leg in my air-fryer oven which was preheated to 400 degrees for 40 minutes. The internal temperature was 170 degrees, next to the bone. Rested it for 10 minutes. Took the foil off & had bloody colored water leaked out. Meat was bloody next to the bone.
So based on the comments, looks like I’m going to use my Ninja Foodi, para cook the leg for 5-7 minutes, dry, then finish off air frying. Momma can’t do bloody meat.
I just finished looking for cooking two turkey legs in the NuWave air fryer and I had to put it in for three sets of 20 minutes each before my thermostat reading gave me the reading that they were done even after the third set of 20 minutes I put it in an additional 15 minutes because they were still a certain areas on the turkey leg that red low on my thermostat reading. All all in all the legs were fully cooked after a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes. Also to 360° temperature setting is too low. After the first 20 minutes me and my wife saw that it was too low and I set the temperature on 400° f. If we would have left it on 360° would have been waiting a long time for them turkey legs to get done. Again I have the Nuwave Brio 14qt. Airfryer. 3/31/21

Turkey legs require high heat and at least 55 min of cooking. They are usually very large and dense.
