Recipe Notes

As you get closer to the 25 minutes of cooking, check it often to ensure it's not overcooking on the outside. Check the internal contents of the meat pie by placing a knife in the center and ensuring it's piping hot. You may need to alter the cooking time and temperature slightly as all air fryers are different.

Unfortunately the pies burn on the outside and remain cold inside.
Suggest that you heat/defrost in Microwave according to directions and finish off in the airfryer about 10 mins (as per package instructions for finishing off in an oven.

The following works perfectly for us. From thawed, microwave for about 45 secs. to a minute for one. The pie or pasty will be hot but feel quite soft/soggy. Don’t panic! Put in the airfryer from cold i.e. no preheating. Set for 200c and start. When the fryer is up to temperature and you hear the “ding” it’s all done Back to crisp, ready to eat.

Its always best to microwave a pie first, I do mine 75% in the microwave and then put them in an air fryer until the pastry is nice and crispy. Its way too much trouble doing them from scratch in the fryer as you have to check them too often. I know someone who does them the reverse way and once the pastry is crispy they finist ir off in the microwave for 30-45 secs then leave to stand for 2 minutes and you still get crispy pastry and hot meat inside

I got it absolutely perfect all within the air fryer, no joke its the best pie i ever had, granted i had the best grass, i think 25 or so many minutes of 170 till its as brown as you like, then continue on 110 for i think 20 minutes (this one im guessing)
